Candied Cinnamon Pecans
Ingredients You’ll Need
½ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 egg white
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 pound pecan halves
Let’s Make It
Preheat & prep: Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. I like to use a sheet pan with a little lip to catch any sugar that might melt off—it keeps cleanup easy.
Mix sugar & spice: In a small bowl, stir together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt. You can adjust the cinnamon to taste if you want it extra cozy and spiced.
Whisk egg white: In a large bowl, whisk the egg white and vanilla until frothy. An electric mixer makes this extra easy and ensures the pecans are evenly coated.
Coat the pecans: Add the pecans to the frothy egg mixture and stir to coat each piece. You’ll notice the pecans start to shine—they’re ready for that sweet sugar coating.
Add sugar mixture: Gradually sprinkle in the cinnamon-sugar blend, stirring well so every pecan gets a touch of that warm sweetness.
Bake: Spread the pecans in a single layer on the prepared sheet pan. Bake for 60 minutes, stirring every 15–20 minutes so they cook evenly. Your kitchen will start smelling like fall in a matter of minutes!
Cool: Let the pecans cool completely before serving. They crisp up as they cool, and the coating becomes perfectly crunchy.
Perfect for Gifting or Snacking
These sweet cinnamon pecans make a simple but thoughtful gift. Pack them in a mason jar, tie with a ribbon, and you’ve got a homemade treat anyone would love. They’re just as perfect for keeping on your counter for an afternoon snack or sprinkling over oatmeal, yogurt, or salads.

These are so good and easy to make. They will make the perfect addition to my holiday gift baskets.
I've always enjoyed eating Candied Pecans. So, when I came upon this recipe, I wanted to make them for the Christmas Holidays. Problem is that I made them a week before Christmas and they were all gone two days later. They were absolutely delicious and so easy to prepare! My family loved them. Now, I am making them again, but this time I'm going to hide them away until Christmas Eve. I'm sure I'll be making them again during the coming year. Thank you for sharing this yummy recipe.🙂
